The short version

Winnow Planner stores the information needed to run your account and board: your sign-in details, tasks, categories, planning choices, and collaboration settings.
If you connect Google Calendar, we request read-only access so we can show calendar events in your planning flow. We do not create, edit, delete, or share your Google Calendar events.
If you use AI features, the content you ask Winnow to process may be sent to an AI provider to create structured task suggestions.
We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or use Google user data to train AI models.
You can request account deletion by emailing support@winnowplanner.com.

1. Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider, and password credentials if you create a password-based account. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not as readable text.

We also store the content you add to Winnow Planner, including tasks, notes, tags, categories, due dates, day-list choices, completed tasks, shared-board permissions, and related planning settings.

2. Google sign-in and Google Calendar

If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google, such as your name, email address, and profile identifier, so we can create and secure your Winnow account.

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Winnow requests the read-only scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly. We use this access to read calendar event information such as title, start time, end time, meeting links, and event status, then show relevant events in your Day List and planning experience.

Winnow does not create, edit, delete, or download calendar events beyond what is needed to display them in the app. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Winnow Planner's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. AI features

If you use AI-assisted capture, file analysis, or prioritization, the text or files you provide may be sent to an AI service provider so the app can suggest tasks, categories, and priorities. We only send the content needed for the requested AI feature.

4. Text messages and connected services

If you text tasks into Winnow, we may process the phone number, message body, timestamp, and message identifier needed to turn that message into a task. If you use paid features, payment details are processed by Stripe; Winnow stores plan and billing status, not full card numbers.

5. Cookies and logs

We use session cookies to keep you signed in and protect your account. We may also collect basic server logs, such as request timestamps and error details, to keep the service secure and reliable. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. How we use information

We use your information to provide the app, sync your board, authenticate your account, process subscriptions, support connected features, troubleshoot bugs, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

7. Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate Winnow Planner, including hosting, database, authentication, payment, email, SMS, calendar, and AI infrastructure. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to Winnow.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing support@winnowplanner.com. We may retain limited records when required for security, legal, billing, or abuse-prevention reasons.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

10. Children

Winnow Planner is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes. If changes are meaningful, we will update the date above. Questions can be sent to support@winnowplanner.com.
